The
Mayan calendar predicted the world would end December 21, 2012 (12-21-12). It
didn't, but it does raise interesting questions on how time calculated. And it
drew attention to the fascinating Maya civilization and other ancient
pre-Columbian Mesoamerica native cultures like Inca, Aztec, Toltec and Olmec.
